Great Barrow Community Shop LTD

As the reality of a shop in the village nears, the GBCS committee are keen to form teams of volunteers to assist in the daily running of the shop. Full training will be given and we can match your skills and preferences to the tasks that are needed.

Come and join our volunteers!

The various roles you could be involved in are:

Serving customers at the till

Serving tea and coffee from a machine

Replenishing shelves

Serving in the Post Office

Bar coding goods

Helping with administration

Ordering of goods

Receiving goods

Tidying and cleaning the shop areas

We intend to have groups of volunteers working with each other on a regular basis if possible, so that people can form working relationships and become familiar with their role. We shall spend time training you so you feel confident and comfortable with what you choose to do.
