Welcome to the Great Barrow Parish Council Footpath Sub Committee

We meet every 6 to 8  weeks in the Okell room Village Hall

We publish a notice in the Barrow News before each meeting, and in the minutes which are on the PC notice boards around the village  

Parishioners are welcome to attend to share any comments they may have regarding our footpaths

There are usually about 9 committee members who keep an eye on a few footpaths each and report back to the regular meetings.

any footpaths needing attention in the committee’s view is reported direct to  CWAC by the Charman.

We have printed a ‘Guide Book of 14 circular walks around Barrow in the 1980’s which  has been reprinted about 6 times with illustrations by a local artist; some new illustrations were added in the last reprint. The book is available from the Bluebell Cafe, Guilden Sutton Post Office, Meadowlea Cafe  Guilden Sutton, and sometimes also available at Tarvin Post Office.
