The Council has operated a flexible minibus service in the area for a number of years. It is designed to assist people in rural areas who have no other means of travel, and provides an opportunity for residents to travel independently around the area. The service is provided by the Borough Council’s ‘in house’ passenger fleet, and operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Mouldsworth, Ashton Hayes, Barrow and Stamford Bridge to and from Chester City Centre. The Council advises intending passengers to reserve a seat in advance be ringing 01244 973039, although it is possible to travel ‘on spec’ should a seat be available.

If you have any questions or comments about this rural service, please contact Great Barrow Parish Council (clerk.greatbarrowpc@gmail.com) who will collate responses and forward to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
