A RIGHT ROYAL KNEES UP!
Following the success of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in 2022, a
team of dedicated volunteers ensured that the Coronation of King Charles was
marked on the playing field in similar style. Villagers of all ages gathered to
enjoy Cricket, Fancy Dress and Pie Making Competitions, a horticultural display
and entertainment from BUGS – Barrow’s own ukulele band. The Playing Field
BBQ team and a pop up bar from the White Horse helped add to the festive
atmosphere and a wonderful time was had by all!
