BUZZARDS CELEBRATE 4 YEARS OF SOARING!

Four years after the first gathering of 9 fledglings, The Buzzards have continued to soar from the Picnic Table of Dreams every Saturday at 10am.

Over 90 Buzzards have participated so far, complete with international guests. They can choose from two 5K off-road or on-road routes, with shorter 3k and 4k options also available. Or you can simply have a walk. Whatever the choice, each flight ends with tea, coffee, conversation and (usually) home baked cakes.

It’s a great, sociable way to build a little exercise into your weekend routine, with the Thursday morning “Forest Buzzards” also flying the Barrow Buzzard flag in Delamere.

Everyone is welcome, and bringing guests along is all part of the fun. So come along and join us any Saturday to see why we’ve become a feathered institution on the village scene and …

To celebrate 4 amazing years! On August 24th, we kick things off with our 10am run, then dive into tea and cake. Afterward, we’re heading to the White Horse for lunch, drinks, and awards ceremony. Come for the run, stay for the fun – see you there!
